Tanning Very Bright Skin with Melanotropin

A patient who wasn’t really able to tan her skin is reporting about her experience with a skin tanning therapy with melanotropin:

I am now back from South Africa after 3 months in which I was applying melanotropin. At the end of these 3 months it worked very well. My freckles didn’t increase and I never had a sunburn, although I waived suncream partially. The result was even more intensive due to waiving the suncream. I am totally delighted with the therapy and I wonder how long my suntan will stay. Thank you very much and best wishes to Vienna!

We congratulate!

The therapy with the hormone melanotropin stimulates skin cells to produce more melanin. Thereby skin is tanning more quickly without getting a sunburn. The suntan and therewith also the body’s own protection against UV light from the sun hold on well temporarily. For the time being, melanotropin is not commercially available and can only be prescribed by doctors to patients in case of a medical indication after detailed medical education.

Skin Regeneration: Tips for Beautiful Skin in Summer

What can you do to indulge your skin and to care for it optimally?

If you love to take a sunbath and let your skin become tanned you should help your skin to regenerate.

Mother Nature did luckily equip our body with autologous “substances” which enable natural regeneration – completely without artificial chemicals and foreign objects.

Blood and Body Fat as Natural Fountain of Youth

Your own blood consists of platelets (thrombocytes) which support regeneration. The so-called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) gives new freshness to your skin. Especially in facial areas treatments with autologous blood, also called “vampire liftings”, are often used for regeneration.

Stem cells open up a great potential of regenerative treatment options. Your body fat is your personal “storage” of autologous stem cells. After obtaining a small amount of body fat by means of liposuction the precious stem cells extracted from the fat can be used for skin regeneration of face and body. Locally injected into the face, neck, or cleavage the stem cells regenerate the tissue and provide new freshness and elasticity.

Outer Beauty and Vitality by Regeneration from Within

We owe our hormones to a large extent that our entire organism functions – our overall well-being, our productivity, resilience, and vitality are largely determined by our hormone levels. Through wear and overstress the capability of our endocrine glands and organs decreases. Hormonal Regeneration® by DDr. Heinrich regenerates your body from the inside. Externally, a significant improvement in the skin’s appearance on the face and body can be achieved – your skin becomes rosier, tighter, and radiates new vitality.

Our beauty drink Perfect Skin by DDr. Heinrich® cares for your skin from within. A special mixture of collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid supports your skin’s regeneration by supplying it with these essential components. Perfect Skin is available as beauty drink in the varieties Premium Edition and Standard and for those who prefer to create their own flavor as a practical powder for mixing.

Intensive Skin Care from the Outside

Growth factors from skin cells (epidermal growth factors) act as intensive treatment for regeneration of your skin. Adapted to your specific needs and desires the particular serum consisting of growth factors is introduced to skin with a mesotherapy roller to achieve regeneration and tightening of the skin, treatment of cellulite, depigmentation, fat reduction, and/or hair growth.

We will gladly support you in enjoying the sun carefree!

How Bioidentical Hormones (BHRT) Can Help

A patient who is interested in bioidentical hormones sent us this message:

I am 45 years old and menopausal. My problem is that I am having heath weaves, night sweats, bad mood, zero libido and nearly all the symptoms of declining hormone production, and they are very uncomfortable and annoying, making my life miserable.

Symptoms like a lack of potency and libido, loss of strength and power, burnout etc. are specific for hormonal deficiencies often seen in people over 40 years of age. The patient further writes in her e-mail:

My gynecologist wants to prescribe me Livial, but I am looking for a more natural solution. On your website I saw that you offer BHRT, but only as a temporary therapy. Is it possible to have it as permanent therapy?

Yes. Usually Hormonal Regeneration® therapies start with initial intensive therapy for six months. After this time the patient either stops and starts again after an individual time of rest, which may be months or years, or she continues the BHRT on lower dosages, less intensely, but permanently. You will find some basic information on it in my video:

Breast Augmentation in Tight Breasts

A patient who is interested in breast augmentation by lipofilling writes us:

I am strongly interested in breast augmentation with autologous fat. I am relatively young, 21 years old, and my breasts are very tight. My wish is to have two cup sizes more.

Probably pre-stretching of the breasts will be necessary, in particular if the patient asks for a breast augmentation of two cup sizes more. There are several ways to accomplish that:

By wearing a special suction bra which stretches tissue by way of a vacuum more room for the later injected autologous fat can be made, thus allowing for a more extensive enlargement. This pre-treatment should be done for some weeks for 10 to 12 hours a day.

In patients who have problems with the mechanic suction bra as an alternative pre-stretching can be performed with saline solution. Thereby 0.9 percent saline solution is injected into the tight breast tissue whereby the breast is swelling significantly for a short time. By repeating the procedure the tissue becomes loose. More volume can be transferred by fat transfer afterwards.

Chubby Cheeks: Liposuction or Fat-Away Injection?

A patient sent us an e-mail:

I have chubby cheeks in my face, which I would like to get removed by liposuction.

In such cases sometimes a treatment with fat-away injection (injection lipolysis) is a sufficient alternative to facial liposcultpure for gentle forming of the face. Both facial treatments differ slightly:

In facial liposuction local fat pads are removed gently by using special facial microcannulas. In case of sagging skin an outpatient microfacelift might be useful too. The microfacelift is performed without a scalpel.

Fat-away injection is the favored treatment if just tiny facial fat pads should be reduced. By injecting a fat-dissolving natural substance (lecithin) degeneration of local fat depots is initiated. Repeat treatments are necessary in many cases in order to achieve an optimal result.

Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid: An Easy Way to More Beautiful Skin?

A patient wants to know:

Is it true that you can drink collagen and hyaluronic acid and that the skin becomes more juvenile from supplying it with these substances?

Collagen and hyaluronic acid are natural components of our skin, hair, nails, and other body tissues. With increasing age their content decreases, also in our skin – this is why it becomes thinner, less elastic, dryer, and wrinkly.

If you supply your body with enough collagen and hyaluronic acid by the intake of food or by drinking it, the skin’s content of collagen and hyaluronic acid rises and it becomes recognizably fuller and elastic, tiny wrinkles disappear and skin moisture increases.

Depending on the skin condition, local treatments with autologous stem cells, growth factors, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP), as well as a therapy with bioidentical hormones (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, BHRT) could contribute to better skin quality.

Liposuction: What Determines the Costs?

A patient asks:

I am interested in doing a liposuction on my thighs. What determines the costs?

It depends on the extent of the liposuction, but especially on the estimated amount of work, which can even be higher in case of smaller fat pads than in case of bigger ones. It also depends on the type of cannulas used (the use of fine microcannulas is more expensive than the use of thicker regular liposuction cannulas). Furthermore it makes a difference if the liposculpture is therapeutically indicated or just performed for body modification. In case liposuction only serves as measure to optimize the body silhouette, 20 % VAT are added to the price.

Endermology after Liposuction

A patient asks about follow-up treatment after liposuction with microcannulas:

With regard to endermology, I would like to try it – if I understood well, it should be performed after all hematomas have disappeared, right?

Yes, after bruises fade away it is recommendable to do an endermology treatment. Endermology is a deep massage of the skin which stimulates tissue regeneration after liposuction. To achieve an optimal result it is important to only do gentle endermology treatments. It is also necessary to choose the right direction during treatment to avoid squeezing out irregularities.

Lipedema: Help with Liposuction

A lipedema is characterized by pathological accumulation of fat in the entire lower body region. In this disease the fat cells are enlarged and the lymphatic circulation is impaired, which causes pain in the legs when being touched. With a therapy of lipedema by liposuction, best done with microcannulas, the wrongly distributed fat can be removed. When choosing a gentle approach, an improvement of lymphatic circulation and symptoms can be achieved.

In many patients at the same time the chest appears to be too small. In this case the extracted fat can be used for breast augmentation with autologous fat transfer. Liposuction as a treatment of lipedema, as well as breast augmentation with autologous fat are performed as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia.

Beta Carotene or Melanotropin for Skin Tanning?

A patient wants to know more about possibilities for tanning:

I am quite light-skinned and I wanted to ask if I should make a beta carotene treatment or if a therapy with melanotropin would be useful.

She could of course take in beta carotene as it does no harm. In parallel or as alternative a custom melantotropin therapy can be performed.

The hormone melanotropin makes pigment cells produce more of the brown pigment color melanin, which tans the skin visibly and makes it more resistant to UV light. Consequently skin damage owing to sunburns – especially in people with light skin – can be avoided and the formation of pigmented spots reduced.

I will be glad to advise you on a therapy for skin tanning that is tailored to your individual skin type during a consultation appointment.
