Even young women, just like Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari, are already dealing with options in order to stay young and beautiful for as long as possible. However, unlike many of her actress colleagues of the same age, the 24-year-old Kristin who became globally known through her roles in the MTV Reality Shows Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and her spin-off The Hills, defies the Hollywood trend to “start” cosmetic surgeries at young ages.
In an interview with xojane.com, the beautiful blond revealed that she openly rejects the idea of using Botox: “Never say never, but I don’t think I’ll ever get Botox because we don’t know the long-term side effects, and I just don’t think that can be good for you.” Well, thanks to her job, Kristin had extensive opportunities to study the unwanted side effects of Botox and plastic surgery of older colleagues.
In the meantime, we are very well aware of both desirable and undesirable effects of botulinum neurotoxin. Botox is excellently suitable for smoothing facial wrinkles after facial surgeries since it temporarily paralyzes facial muscles. In cosmetic application, this effect is desirable on the one hand – Botox has meanwhile become the classic among the treatment of wrinkles: Individual parts of the facial muscles become paralyzed through targeted injection. This promotes a fast smoothing of mimic wrinkles.
On the other hand, the wrinkle-smoothing effect has also its disadvantages: Botox causes a regression of sweat glands and sebaceous glands of the skin (for this reason, Botox is also used as an excessive sweating treatment). As a result, the skin soon becomes drier, thinner, and quickly looks old and sallow. A limited ability to make mimic expressions is resulting in an unnatural, doll-like facial expression.
Permanent wrinkles emerging due to the fact that the quality of skin deteriorates with increasing age. Botox is only able to reduce the concrete reason – the mimic expression. However, in order to improve skin quality, regeneration is required: Our hormones, stem cells, as well as specific tissue hormones (growth factors) are the key to sustainable, natural skin rejuvenation completely without Botox, artificial fillers, and facelifts performed with scalpel.
The performance of our endocrine glands weakens with increasing age. The hormone levels decrease and all organs – also the skin – are worse supplied with the actual required hormones. Therefore, the organs age faster than necessary. By supplying bioidentical hormones (DHEA, growth hormone, testosterone, thyroxin, pregnenolone, and many others) within the context of a Hormonal Regeneration®, these age-related hormone deficiencies are compensated. Already after a short while, the face looks fuller and appears younger, the skin regains its youthful freshness and firmness and wrinkles disappear. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapies (BHRT) usually last 3 or 6 months.
The rejuvenating and regenerative effect of stem cells leads to noticeable improvement of the treated skin areas. During skin rejuvenation with stem cells, stem cells are isolated from a small amount of fat that is gently extracted using microcannulas. The stem cells are then injected with fine needles into the skin where they unfold their rejuvenating effects. Nowadays, skin tissue hormones (growth factors) can be bio-synthetically produced and used for targeted skin regeneration.
And what’s the secret behind Kristin’s slim body? In order to stay young and fit, Kristin focuses on low-calorie nutrition and physical activity instead of plastic surgery. Hence, she passionately enjoys sports – allegedly four times a week. Her well-trained body she may have also achieved through her tough dance training in order to participate on the show Dancing with the Stars – a little compensation for the fact that she had already been sent home from the show after the third week…
And how does her love life look like? After several temporary relationships, she may now have found her happiness with football player Jay Cutler. Let’s hope that he is not only going to support Kristin in her decision in terms of natural beauty, but also to make her permanently happy this time!
