Furthermore, sagged cheeks, a double chin, and dropped eye lids often cause considerable impairment on behalf of the patient.

Micro Facelift and Double Chin Liposuction
Local facial fat deposits can be removed carefully by liposuction with especially thin microcannulas. Thereby the face can be shaped gently.
A so-called micro facelift provides a remedy in case of sagging skin in the facial area, the cheeks, and the neck area. The entire procedure is done in a very gentle way, which completely avoids scalpels or skin incisions. In contrast to the so called mini facelift there are no visible scars left after a micro facelift.
All after photos show the results actually achieved by the treatment. To protect the anonymity of the depicted persons individual physical characteristics (e.g., moles, tattoos) might have been removed.
Even a “double chin” can be removed this way. Through a targeted liposuction the chin area is softly corrected, facial contours are thereby modelled precisely and harmoniously. In case of a “permanently fatigued” facial expression it is often sufficient to only remove a tiny amount of fat to make the eye area appear open and fresh.

A liposuction in the face is always performed on an outpatient basis and mostly takes a maximum of 2 hours. We exclusively use very thin microcannulas because it is important to work particularly carefully and precisely in facial areas. We don’t use scalpels, which would leave permanent scars, for your face. A part of the subcutaneous fat tissue in the problem zone is harvested with particularly thin microcannulas under local anesthesia. Thereby a lifting effect is achieved, the cheek area is contoured, sagging or undesirable fat pads are removed.
In case of very tiny facial fat deposits a fat-away injection (injection lipolysis) can also help instead of a liposuction.
The Period after Liposuction
After a facial liposuction you normally need a compression bandage for 12 to 36 hours. Swelling and bruises can occur temporarily. In general you are already able to work 1 to 2 days after the procedure (depending on how long you have to wear the bandage). Possible bruises can be covered with makeup.
